Colonial Church of Bayside is located in the picturesque area of Bayside Hills. Colonial Church has given local residents a place to fellowship and share God's love since 1938. We are a diverse group of believers endeavoring to follow the Lord's Great Commandment to "love God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind and to love your neighbor as yourself."

As a community of faith, we are "sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy." (1 Corinthians 1:2)
It is our fervent desire to walk humbly with God, showing mercy and seeking justice. (Micah 6:8)
We open our doors to the broader community and share the love and joy of Christ with every individual regardless of age, ethnicity, or social status.

We are a sanctuary for spiritual healing and renewal.

We do everything we can to provide countless opportunities for every member to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, draw closer to God in their spiritual walk, grow deeper in their faith, and transform their lives by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We share in the leadership of our church, knowing that there are "different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit." (1 Corinthians 12:4)

About Us

Our Beliefs

We believe Jesus, the Son of God, entered our broken world and lived a life that reveals God to us and tells us who we are: beings created by God in God's image who suffer in a broken world.

Jesus lived a life of perfect obedience to God and suffered and died on a cross to create the way for people to be reconnected to God, as we were created to be. God brought Jesus to life again—defeating death—and Jesus returned to his Father in heaven.

Because Jesus died and rose again, we can live in hope for a better life in this world and in eternity with God.

To connect with this new life and hope, we need to recognize that we have big issues that we can't fix ourselves, accept Christ's claim that he is the Son of God and the way to new life, and allow God to lead us into a new relationship with him.
